Working with 2019’s James Beard Best Chef, Ashley Christensen, and her wife, Kaitlyn Goalen, I photographed this culinary power duo’s second cookbook. After a few weeks into our 2020 pandemic lockdown, Ashley and Kaitlyn, as well as the team at Ten Speed Press, entrusted the entire project to me: cook, food style, prop style, and photograph.
